IS COUPLES COUNSELING COVERED BY INSURANCE OR MEDICAID?
Couples counseling is covered by private insurance and is covered by Medicaid.
WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER ISSUES, LIKE LACK OF HOUSING AND FOOD?
We have a dedicated Care Manager who can provide you with local community resources to assist with these needs. Just let us know if you have these concerns.
WHAT IF I HAVE LEGAL ISSUES?
We work with some individuals who have legal mandates they need to satisfy. If you want us to, we can communicate directly with CPS, probation, TASC, or DWI assessors to let them know you have attended the sessions they are requiring of you.
WHAT IF I NEED PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATIONS or MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT?
We have referral relationships with practices that can prescribe medications. Let us know if you need assistance with names, numbers, or referrals. We can communicate with your prescriber as much or as little as you choose to ensure your needs are met.
WHAT TYPE OF THERAPY IS THE BEST FOR MENTAL HEALTH?
Cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT has been found to be the most effective, evidence-based treatment for the widest range of mental health issues. CBT uses the think, feel, act cycle to help us break patterns of thinking and ways of acting that are not helping us progress in our mental health. You have many options as our counselors are trained in serval types of therapy including CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based practices and motivational interviewing.
